Here are the steps to check your EDV result:

1. Go to the official website for the Electronic Diversity Visa (EDV) program at dvprogram.state.gov.
2. Click on the "Check Status" button, which will take you to the Entrant Status Check page.
3. Enter your confirmation number, which is the unique confirmation number that you received when you submitted your EDV application.
4. Enter your last name or family name exactly as it appears on your application.
5. Complete the Captcha verification process by entering the characters shown in the image.
6. Click on the "Submit" button to check your result.

If you have been selected, the website will display a message indicating that you have been selected and provide instructions on what to do next. If you have not been selected, the website will indicate that you have not been selected and provide further information about the status of your application.

It's important to note that the DV program results are only available online and the U.S. Department of State will not send out email notifications to selected entrants. So, make sure to check your result online regularly and keep your confirmation number safe and secure.
